January Book Haul

I have to say, since I delved into reading for pleasure again, I have been piling up the books! I think I went a little overboard. I couldn’t resist, though, with all of the credit I got from Amazon through December, and all the good sales in January!

So, here’s what I picked up this month:

Hush, Hush, Crescendo, and Silence by Rebecca Fitzpatrick

The Sin-Eaters Daughter by Melinda Salisbury

Me and Mr. J by Rachel McIntyre

Just One Day by Gayle Foreman

Fallen Grace by Mary Hooper

The Bride’s Farewell by Meg Rosoff

The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler

Divergent by Veronica Roth (Kindle)

LumberJanes #1 (Kindle)

Fangirl (Special Edition) by Rainbow Rowell (Kindle)

The Palace of Curiosities by Rosie Garland (Kindle)

Alexandra by Lauren and Devon Royal (Kindle)

The Paper Magician, The Glass Magician, and the Master Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg (Kindle)

I’m a little overwhelmed. I now have a huge TBR list! I also feel the need to apologize because I haven’t written a review in a while. I started reading The Invisible Library again but it just hasn’t quite grabbed me, so I began The Bride’s Farewell. I should have a review up tomorrow for a book I read in early January, I promise!

I also feel like I have more access to books now – my husband and I went through his book collection that was in storage and we donated a load to Oxfam. Now we just need to rearrange a bit, and they should all be in the house with us! I’m so excited. I’m very sad that I had to leave a majority of my book collection back in California.

I have also been trying my hand at photographing the books I have been reading and other bookish things. You can check me out on Instagram under rosyclovesy, or you can check out some of my photos on the sidebar of my blog.

I have also joined the Bookaholic Alliance book club! You can find us over at GoodReads here. For the month of February, we will be reading Confess by Colleen Hoover. I have not read any of her books before but I am really looking forward to it!

So, how about you? Did you pick up too many books in January like I did? Have you read any of the books that I’ve picked up? What can I look forward to?

I totally picked up too many books. Around 50 to be exact! I loved fangirl. The paper magician and the sin eaters daughter were pretty good to. 🙂

Oh wow! You definitely have me beat!! I am really hoping that sales will calm down in February so I am not so tempted!

You can “try” but you can never succeed in picking up/reading less books. 😀 #readersproblems
